A LEAP OF FAITH

I am not a Doctor, nore have I had any medical training. Therefor I am not going to make any claims  that any of the information contained on this website can be taken as a means to a cure for any problems or health challenges the reader may be experiensing.I have simply discovered a few things that have helped me overcome some problems that I was suffering with and hope that you may wish to find out more. Its not rocket science and its not white witchery either but it will require the reader to change the way he or she lives thier lives, Some of the changes I made in my life were not always easy but they were all incredably simple.

I have managed to take responsibility for my own health and at 55 years of age am now probably fitter than I was ten years ago. At age 50 I was suffering from Arthritis and was looking seriously at having to give up my job as a self employed Plumber.     I knew that for things to change I was going to have to make some serious changes. Quite where to start was the hardest thing but fate took a hand when my partner Julie draged me along to a health awairness seminar, the main speaker was telling us about the need to suppliment our diets with essential vitamins and minerals that were lacking in our diets due to various reasons like intensive farming methods, our demand for so called fresh produce all year round, the fact that we are eating so mush processed food and microvaving meals etc etc.

I now firmly believe that we have not evolved as a species much in the last several thousand years, however our diets have evolved drasticly in the last few decades. In other words we expect owr stone age bodies to survive on space age diets. Is it any wonder that so many diseases are on the increase.

Are exposure to enviromental polution from thousands of chemicals, exhaust fumes, electro magnetic radiation from power lines, computers, plus a whole house full of other electrical gadgits and gizmos . Our Bathroom is now become the most dangerous room in the house, virtually all are regular personal care products and cosmetics do contain harmfull chemicals. They build up in our vital organs and over time reach levels that can lead to serious health risks. Ore skin is our largest organ and will absorb whatever we put on it, so as well as saying "we are what we eat" we can also say "we are what we absorb"

I have also come to realise how we starve ourselves of water, I will be doing an entire chapter on water being the "forgotten nutrient " We are all dehydrated. Simply adding a regular intake of good pure water can produce very dramatic improvements in our general health.
